Unarguably he is one of the most recognized faces of Indian television with a massive fan following across all age groups. He represented India in the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS) in South Korea and here he introduced them to the wonders of Ayurvedic cooking. He was the Indian ambassador for UN’s Clean Cook Stoves campaign and has represented India as a Food ambassador in Spain under the Spanish Government’s Indian Future Leaders Programme (IFLP).

His Khazana brand of blended spices, ready to cook mixes, pickles and gourmet chutneys are popular in US, Europe and Middle East, in addition to India. Atul Kochhar's unique talent as a twice Michelin-starred chef has changed the way people perceive and experience Indian cuisine in the UK and beyond. Taking inspiration from his native India, while continuously researching regional dishes, Atul has managed to combine his heritage with his love of regional ingredients to create a unique and innovative modern Indian cuisine.

He is one of the most critically acclaimed International chefs with several restaurants proudly behind him: Benares one of the finest Michelin-start restaurants in London; Sindhu at The Compleat Angler in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and on board P&O cruises; Indian Essence suburban restaurant in Kent and Hawkyns a British restaurant in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.  Atul’s portfolio across the world includes the second Benares in Madrid, Rang Mahal at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai and recently he turned his attention back home to Mumbai with the opening of NRI and LIMA.

In addition to these projects, Atul has written four successful cookbooks with his fifth on the way: Simple Indian; Fish, Indian Style; Curries of the World, Benares Michelin Starred Cooking and 30 Minute Curries launching in May 2017.

Having recipes featured in international publications and many regular appearances on food broadcasts, Atul remains committed to his passion and is constantly seeking inspiration through travel and research. His work ethic and talent have not gone unnoticed as he has had the privilege to cook for Prince Charles at St James’s Palace, as well as having been personally invited to meet HM The Queen during one of the President of India’s official visit. Dedicating time outside of the kitchen to philanthropic endeavours Atul has worked with The Prince’s Trust and stands as an ambassador to The British Asian Trust to support high impact charities in South Asia and the UK.

When not busy with one of his various restaurants or projects, Atul enjoys spending time at home in London with his wife Deepti and their two young children. Continuing to thrive, the next few years look full of exciting new projects for Atul and his team.


Gary Rhodes OBE is an English restaurateur and chef, known for his love of British cuisine and the distinctive spiked hair style that he once wore. Gary’s career as a writer has been both prolific and highly successful and, to date, he has published over twenty cookery books, including New British Classics, The Complete Cookery Year, Keeping it Simple and 365.

His television career has been equally successful with series such as Rhodes Around Britain, MasterChef, MasterChef USA, Hell’s Kitchen, Rhodes Across India, Rhodes Across China, Rhodes Across the Caribbean, Rhodes Across Italy and, most recently, the BBC series The Great British Food Revival. As well as owning four restaurants, Rhodes also has his own line of cookware and bread mixes.

Well known as an ambassador for British cuisine, Gary has achieved what no other chef had previously managed to do : he reintroduced Britain to its rich gastronomic heritage and uncovered a culinary culture to rival that of any other country in the world. In 2006 Gary was honoured with an OBE for services to the hospitality industry.
